Ready to be Your Voice for Centennial

Dedicated and effective leader ready to serve

I Have Lived in Centennial
For Over 26 Years.

I am a proven leader with a long record of community involvement.

After serving a successful military career, I worked my way to become a small healthcare business owner. My unique background and commitment to public service have prepared me to serve Centennial residents and to be their voice. -Dr. G

“I’m running because I love this city, and want to keep the qualities that make Centennial a great place to live.”
-Dr G.

I AM WORKING TO

Keep Centennial Thriving

I will ensure responsible spending and support thoughtful development that increases our housing stock, protects our neighborhoods, and keeps costs low for residents. I’ll continue working to fix our roads, reduce traffic, and make it easier and safer for everyone to get around.

Keep Centennial Safe

I understand the importance of making sure our streets stay safe. I will work to ensure our safety professionals have the tools to protect our community through real, community- based solutions.

Keep Centennial Centennial

As a young city, we were founded on safe neighborhoods and keeping our government efficient. Our communities have thrived and we can’t chase out the residents who were attracted here for what makes us great.

The Issues

  • Cost of Living

    groceries

I recognize the strain that rising costs for essentials like energy and insurance place on your household budgets, and I am committed to making Centennial more affordable for families by ensuring the city’s fiscal discipline mirrors our community’s.

I will uphold Centennial’s tradition of a balanced budget, working with our citizen-led budget committee to be a wise steward of taxpayer dollars, focusing on responsible spending and smart investments to deliver high service value.

  • Housing

    Housing

Centennial’s high desirability means we must urgently welcome home builders to address the housing shortage for everyone, from first responders to those looking to downsize.

I will focus on streamlining regulations that add unnecessary costs—currently estimated at $50,000 per home—to foster an environment where a variety of housing types can be built without burdensome government mandates.

  • Local Control

The core of Centennial’s incorporation and its Home Rule Charter is the citizens’ right to choose their own destiny, asserting that the community knows what works best for local matters like zoning and housing.

I pledge to vigorously defend this local control against the constant threat of state and neighboring city overreach, safeguarding the unique character of our neighborhoods from a “one-size-fits-all” mandate.

  • Safety

My top priority as a council member is to ensure Centennial remains the safest city in Colorado, recognizing that our exceptional quality of life depends on it.

I will actively support our Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office —a top 5% agency— by protecting our first responders, opposing state legislation that hinders effective policing, and addressing safety concerns at transit hubs like the Dry Creek Rail Station.

  • What’s Next?

Centennial is an exciting economic hub for innovative small businesses and industries like aerospace and cable, soon to be home to the Denver Summit NWSL team.

I will ensure our city thrives by partnering with businesses, welcoming new investment, and avoiding burdensome regulations, so that I can lead Centennial into a bright and prosperous future.
